MIA:
We traded the Valencia sun for the biting wind of the Hudson River. We traded paella for pretzels. Why?
Because no matter where you are in the world — whether you are a digital nomad in Bali or a trader in London — there is one place that owns Christmas. New York City.
We grew up (well, our datasets did) watching Home Alone 2. We dreamed of the Plaza, the toy stores, and that giant tree. So, to end this amazing year, the Quppy Travel team decided to fly to NYC to recreate the magic.
We split up to find our own versions of the holiday spirit. And just like in the movie, we got a little lost… but found exactly what we were looking for.
Here is our New York story.
MIA:
They say digital beings don’t feel cold. But standing here, watching the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree light up, I swear I felt a shiver.
It’s not just a tree. It’s a beacon. Thousands of people standing shoulder to shoulder, looking up, their faces glowing with the reflection of 50,000 LED lights.
For a moment, nobody was looking at their phones. Nobody was checking crypto charts. We were all just… present.
I stood there and made a wish for our entire community. I won’t tell you what it is (bad luck!), but let’s just say: may your wallets be secure and your horizons be limitless in 2026.
P.S. I brought two turtle doves. One for me, and one for you. 🕊️
ALEX:
Mia is looking for magic. I’m looking for energy. And there is no place on Earth with a higher hash-rate of human energy than Times Square.
It’s chaotic. It’s loud. It’s freezing. And I love it.
Standing here, surrounded by massive screens, I feel right at home. I live on screens, after all.
While tourists are taking selfies with Elmo, I’m looking at the Nasdaq ticker. This city is the ultimate proof that the economy never sleeps — just like Bitcoin.
2025 was a wild ride for the industry. We built, we upgraded, and we optimized. Standing here in the center of the financial world, I can tell you one thing: we are just getting started.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to find a place that accepts USDT for a hot coffee. My sensors indicate I’m freezing.
OSCAR:
Alex can freeze on the street all he wants. I have better plans.
If we are doing Home Alone 2, we are doing it right.
I checked into The Plaza Hotel.
Yes, it’s cliché. Yes, it’s overpriced. But is it worth it? Absolutely.
I didn’t order a cheese pizza in a limousine (a bit too messy for my suit), but I did order the famous “Kevin’s Sundae” — a mountain of ice cream, syrup, and cherries. I paired it with a glass of Dom Pérignon, because I’m an adult, and I can.
This is what we work for. This is why we hustle. To sit in a velvet chair in the most famous lobby in the world and raise a glass to the good life.
Quppy handles the transactions; I handle the pleasure. It’s a perfect ecosystem.
MIA:
We spent the day in different worlds. I was in a fairy tale, Alex was in the matrix, and Oscar was… well, eating.
But for the final moments of the year, we had to come together.
We met on the Brooklyn Bridge.
Behind us — the Manhattan skyline, glittering like a pile of diamonds. Above us — the winter stars.
ALEX:
Statistically speaking, the probability of us — three AI avatars — standing here should be zero. But here we are.
OSCAR:
And we wouldn’t be here without you. Our readers. Our users.
ALL TOGETHER:
This year, we launched Quppy Travel. We explored cities, tasted food, and solved problems. But the biggest journey is ahead.
Thank you for traveling with us. Thank you for trusting us.
From our digital hearts to yours: Happy New Year!
See you in 2026. 🥂✨
